Crazy Guild
May Newletter Minutes
Hello Quilters!,
May 8, 2001
Monthly meeting of the Crazy Quilters Guild, Mukwonago, Wisconsin.
========
The staff, editors and all the Guides have been hard at work for weeks getting
ready to launch our "new look" and it went online at 3am EST Wed,
April 12. Don't worry, all the articles and information are still there, but
the look of the "entrance" has been remodeled. It should now be a
lot easier to find things and see what the many sites on About.com are all about.
There are still some new features to roll out over the next couple weeks, but
I hope you all like the new appearance. (You'll see a handy search window at
the top of every page now and an index of Subjects at the left to make navigation
easier, too.)
On the Quilting Site:
Scrap Borders

======
Ideas for lively scrap borders using left over fabrics - make strip pieced groupings
and turn them into a coordinated border. If you have been following the Fast-Easy
Fat Quarter Mystery free quilt you can start your border exploration from the
final Part 5 on borders here:

Quilt Word Mazes & Puzzles
http://quilting.about.com/library/0lib/puzzles/bl0_quiltpuzz.htm
=======
I've made up 4 different styles of word fun for quilters in four different puzzle
formats. Print these out and have fun over a cup of coffee. I'm happy to have
them used in Quilt Guild newsletter (guide lines for use are shown with the
puzzles). Let me know if you like these and I'll keep putting new ones up monthly.
Quilt Tips

Don't forget our Quilt Tips page! Keep those tips coming in to help our collection
grow. (Already published Tips - a nice long list - is here http://quilting.about.com/library/bl_tipofdayold.htm ) If you send in a tip, be sure to tell me if you want your name
and city, state or country to be shown.
